Each year, Crowned Heads releases a a few limited-edition Las Calaveras cigars to pay tribute to those close to the company who have lost their lives. The name, Las Calaveras, comes from a zinc etching by José Guadalupe Posada called La Calavera Catrina. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the first release of Las Calaveras and so Crowned Heads is celebrating the occasion with a very rare cigar, the Las Calaveras Décimo Aniversario, which is a 6” x 52 Toro featuring an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. The other cigars in the lineup are the LC48 (a 6” x 48 with only 2,500 boxes produced), the LC52 (a 5” x 52 with only 1,500 boxes produced), the LC54 (a 6” x 54 with only 1,500 boxes produced), and the Belicoso Fino (a 5 ½” x 52 with only 3,000 samplers produced).
